From hearty seasonal specials and legendary pizzas with a festive twist to Prosecco receptions and winter cocktails, we’re serving up all the good stuff. With live music, DJs, and unbeatable vibes throughout December, there’s no better place to celebrate. Tucked just off Exeter High Street, our rustic, candlelit pub is the perfect place to eat, drink, dance, and be merry.
Come hungry. Our three-course festive feast is £37 per person, with winter warmers, proper Christmas classics and a few Firehouse twists along the way.
Think roast turkey with all the trimmings, West Country beef, truffled mushroom & chestnut pie, followed by Christmas pud or a seriously good crumble.

Yep. Christmas party bookings require a £10 per person deposit, which is redeemable against your bill on the day.

Easy. We can send you a secure payment link to pay online, or you can pop into the pub and pay in cash.
Need an invoice? No problem – we just require cleared funds at least two weeks before your party.
Yes. Food must be pre-ordered for festive group bookings, and our three-course Christmas Feast is only available when booked in advance.
We’ll usually need your choices 7–10 days before your party, giving our kitchen plenty of time to get the festive feast ready.
Absolutely. Tucked away upstairs, our Attic Bar is made for private Christmas parties in Exeter, with its own bar, plenty of character and space to get the whole crew together.
It certainly is. If you’re bringing a crowd, the Attic gives you your own space away from the main pub, complete with a private bar, TV and audio setup.
It’s a great shout for office Christmas parties, society celebrations and big festive get-togethers for up to 100 guests.
Of course. Not every Christmas party needs three courses and a seating plan. If pizza, pints and festive drinks sound more your style, we can help you plan a laid-back Firehouse celebration.
For a proper festive feast, our three-course Christmas menu is available for pre-booked groups. If you’re after something more relaxed, our legendary 14-inch square pizzas are perfect for getting stuck into with the whole crew.
Yes. We can cater for a range of dietary requirements and our menus include vegetarian and vegan choices. Just make sure you tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements when arranging your booking
You’ll find us at 50 New North Road, Exeter, EX4 4EP, tucked just off Exeter High Street and within easy walking distance of Exeter Central and Exeter St Davids stations – handy when you’re getting the whole Christmas party together.
Under-18s are welcome until 7pm when accompanied by an adult. After 7pm, Old Firehouse operates an over-18s policy.
